Scottie Needs Your Help

Scottie

How much can one little dog endure?

Before Marilyn's Voice rescued him; Scottie, a 6- pound Chihuahua , life was a series of unfortunate events. Born with a congenital deformity in both his front legs, he was left in a crate for so long that his back leg muscles atrophied, making it impossible for him to walk. Then his owners decided to dump him at a shelter. Marilyn's Voice was called to see if we could take him, and so we did. Within 24 hours, Scottie was taken to the emergency vet, where they determined he had pneumonia. Kept overnight on IV fluids and antibiotics, Scottie made it through the night and stole the hearts of everyone.

Now the hard part begins. While surgery has yet to be determined, the road ahead will be filled with months of difficult physical therapy for Scottie to regain the ability to walk. Scottie still has a lot of life and love to give. Would you please help us help Scottie? Marilyn's Voice depends on donations in order to give the very best veterinary care to our rescued animals. Any donations for Scottie's care would go a long way in helping us care for him. His vet bills are already $950 and will only increase from there!
