A year and a half ago, Alan H and his wonderful family (now including Azur) gave Abbey-Gavotte a tremendous transitional home until she came to West Nyack, NY to bring joy to my family of humans and pets....and to wreak her magical havoc on carpets and furniture alike (as only she can!). Abbey-Gavotte has brought such energy (no, really! :0)  and so much joy into my life and the life of Bijou, Crinkles, and now my departed uncles cat Leocadie. But that's it -- no one else has bequeathed a pet to me should anything happen to them, so we are a happy family capped at 4 four-leggeds! [With a white cat and white dog, and black cat and black dog, the family of pets are color-coordinated.] 

I wanted to simply explain why you should have received $200 from me this morning, paid to Marilyn's Voice through PayPal (to be used in whichever way is most needed!). I've been meaning to say thank you in more practical terms, and it is simply a small gesture of our appreciation for the beautiful, soulful work that you do taking care of the world's vulnerable creatures.
