I'm writing in to update you all on Joey!

 

We adopted him on August 26, 2010 and he is doing awesome! His hair when we got him was completely shaved because of the mats but now it is completely grown out and he is a humongous puff ball. He makes us laugh everyday with all his little quirks and he is still obsessed with tennis balls.

 

Joey and his "brother" Rowdy had a blast so far this winter playing in the snow and when he got thirsty he would just eat the snow and continue on. But now he loves the long walks we get to take since the snow has finally melted...  and we are hoping it stays that way. He also was finally introduced to my parents dog Mr. Brown and they get along great so he has a new friend; he gets along with all the dogs in our neighborhood too, which is great! All in all he is doing great... running the house like he is the king!

 

Joey is an amazing dog and I am so glad that he likes it here with us. He fit right in and has never given us one problem. He picked up on the going to the bathroom outside pretty quickly and he even knows to sit by the door now to tell us he has to go. Joey has been very easy going and has adjusted perfectly, I really can't describe how much he means to us now that he is here. I attached some pictures of him so you can all see how much he has changed!
